Description Game:
The year is 2025. The Greek Gods roam the Earth, slowly fading as the mortals have stopped worshipping them. Suddenly, the Gods find themselves in a strange space, and are told they will lose their Godhood. As they are forced to wait together to face their mortality, old jealousies and regrets come into play. How do they cope with the loss of their powers? Can they accept their fate before it is too late?
In this shortlarp, you will each be playing a Greek God who has lost their powers. The game uses an element of randomisation to create unexpected dynamics. Because of this, the game does not strive to be perfectly accurate to the mythology and knowledge of the myths is not required to play. The tone is comedic and themes include: family drama, (im)mortality, loss of powers, friendship and betrayal. This is the larp for you if you enjoy playing out interpersonal conflict and want to use Greek mythology as a base to create explosive relationships.

Character creation:
We will do character creation together on the day with partially pre-written characters. No prep is required
Rules:
The characters are based on the Greek Gods. The game features character relationships based on randomised cards, which will help you build alliances and conflict. There will be three acts, with a short break in between each act. It is a roleplay-centric game.
Extra notes:
Note that this game will not be played sitting around a table, but moving around a bit and talking to different people in small groups. If you need to stay seated for the duration of the game, that can be accommodated, but speak to the game master in advance.
