Description Game:
Strange invitations have drawn you to the misty town of Ambervenne, a place where the scarecrows seem to stare a little too long and the mayor’s smile is stitched on a bit too tight.
You’re promised glory, purpose, maybe even a bit of coin — but something about this town isn’t quite right. The wind carries whispers, the townsfolk walk like they’re dreaming, and the circus tent on the hill? It hasn’t been there in years.
In this spooky one-shot adventure full of gothic whimsy, offbeat horror, and Halloween flair, you’ll face eerie foes, meet the recently dead (some of whom are delighted about it), and discover that not all endings are permanent… and not all puppet strings are visible.
Tone: Dark comedy meets whimsical horror

For players who love: Spooky-fun mystery, puzzle-solving, moral choices, a chance to get weird, ridiculous bureaucracy, undead oddballs, redemption… or revenge (includes the change to die twice and throwing your own head as a grenade).

Character Creation Guidelines
In the spirit of Halloween, I fully support spooky, weird, and wonderfully thematic characters! You’re welcome — encouraged, even — to get creative and venture beyond the basic D&D 2024 rules.
However… With great power comes great responsibility. You are responsible for building a balanced Level 5 character.
Guidelines:
Min-maxing is discouraged. Instead, I strongly encourage min-minning — give your character quirks, flaws, and flavor. Make them fun, not flawless.
Some experience recommended. If you’re newer to D&D or character creation, I recommend using the official D&D Beyond tools and sticking to the basic rules for a smooth experience. (If you don’t want or know how to create your character, I have some pre generated character sheets ready).
Homebrew & Halloweeny concepts welcome! Got a weird idea? A haunted soul in a jack-o’-lantern body? A rogue possessed by their own ghost? Let’s talk! Just DM me on Discord.
Final step:
All custom (not basic 2024 rules) or homebrewed characters must be approved.
