Trapped under the roof of Old lady Ann, The mastermind of the outlaw world. As the desert is her domain. Outlaws come to her for bounties and work as she has eyes and ears everywhere. Lady Ann is a feared woman in which most every outlaw seems to have found their way in her arms. Now they can’t get out of her little village in the middle of nowhere. Something strange is afoot, deep in the sandy dunes. The outposts have gone silent. Those brave enough to face the abrasive wind to try and bring back supplies have not returned.

The village is safe for now, but it will not be long as necessities run low and people are turning on each other. Bloodshed will be inevitable one way or another. By the thing keeping them trapped, the monster some call it. Or because dangerous people get desperate inside the village.

Old lady Ann overseeing everything of her desert empire knows this. The monster as some call it, needs to be dealt with. So she calls upon the favors owed, for those in debt to her to go out there. To save her community, but ultimately it’s a way to save their own ass as outside the shabby wooden walls of her saloon the monster awaits.

The kingdom of Sakar, is also known as the ‘kingdom within the walls’. As you can tell the locals aren’t very creative with their names because the kingdom is indeed surrounded by a large wall keeping the dangers out of their home. It is located in between a chain of mountains and a large forest. Travelers often try to find shelter within the kingdom, they’d describe it as a peaceful place but not many citizens know of the world beyond their walls and are often described as ‘naive’. The forest is one in which you can easily get lost. And no one would recommend going through it and rather go over the mountains. The queens and their son, Prince Qildor, live within a large palace on top of the hill, overseeing their subjects. But alas, they cannot see all, as in the last few days citizens are disappearing as well as the Prince. This is where royal butler Carl Figbert calls upon brave adventurers, or simply people interested in the reward, but nonetheless those who will bring home the prince!

Every year Kua toa appear in the old flooded cave systems near our town.
Kua toa are also known as God makers, they can manifest things they believe to be true. Last year they believed the light house was a giant one-eyed god so it started moving and wreaking havoc in and around our little town. We can’t afford to have that happend again.
