It is three days before the meeting between the dwarven High Thane and the Lords of Elmsreach, and in the backdrop of last decade’s war, wicked things move in hidden places.
The remote dwarven outpost of Korum’s Watch lies nestled between the snowy peaks of the Veiled Mountains. On the surface, this slow but steady hematite mine shows no sign of the secure facility below. However, an unknown squadron of spellcasters has taken a special interest in uncovering the dwarves’ dark secrets: the guards were only able to send one message before collapsing the access tunnel.
You are sent by Thane Nimdulinn himself on a mission to gain access to the facility and ensure nothing falls into enemy hands. Otherwise, it could spell doom upon the realms of dwarves and beyond. You will have to move quickly and bring grit, wits and discretion to successfully complete this urgent mission.
This homebrew oneshot is intended for 5th to 7th level characters. Premade character sheets will be provided, but you can bring your own character if you meet the requirements below.
Making a character You don’t have to make a character if you want to choose one from the premade character sheets. If you make a character, do so before the oneshot. We don’t have time to do character creation at the event.
- Use point buy and any official 5e materials. Feats and multiclassing are allowed!
- No evil alignments.
- You do not have to min-max your character: feel free to bring fun and interesting builds!
- You will be given a choice of spy-gear magic items at the start of the oneshot.
- You can drink potions as a bonus action. Cheers, mate!
