All Dutch, International Minded

The second and a half edition of the Con will happen on 26th of October 2024 in the small town of Ewijk, near Nijmegen, Gelderland, the Netherlands. The Con aims to be multilingual, with Dutch, English, and German speaking organisers and volunteers.

Vendors and Merchandise

The Con will offer vendor tables, where visitors can peruse wares from official merchandise of games such as Dungeons & Dragons, to independent rule books sold by the designer. Of course everything a Game Master or player might need will be available as well – 3D printed miniatures and terrain, leatherworks, stationary, and much more.

Speakers, Workshops and Live Games

Visitors will be able to attend Workshops during the Con, or sit down and listen to a Speaker presenting a topic that you might be interested in. We expect workshops on terrain building and improvisation, and talks on accessibility at the game table and sound design for tabletop games.

And of course, there will be live game tables! Be it Dungeons and Dragons 5e or short indie games, experienced and new Game Masters will be running One Shots and small experiments during the Con.

The Venue: MFA ’t Hart Ewijk

RINCON 2024 takes place on 6 & 7 april on the grounds of MFA ‘t Hart Ewijk. The address is Den Elt 17, 6644 EA, Ewijk. 

The entire venue – as it is available – has been reserved for the convention. This means two giant vendor halls, several rooms for speakers, workshops, and live games – as well as a nice lounge to sit and chat. The lounge will offer a variety of drinks, snacks, and meals. We will also have a big outside area with a Adventure’s bazaar, unique vendors and activities and the Rainbow Court will be there for the charity tombola en more.

The venue might be smaller than you’d expect for an amazing con like RINCON, but both we and our visitors were charmed by its friendly nature, homely characteristics, and natural feel. We do our best to utilize every inch to ensure you don’t feel crowded but instead enjoy the cozy and affectionate atmosphere, just as we do.

Accessibility

MFA ‘t Hart Ewijk is fully wheelchair accessible. Ramps and lifts are located in all rooms and locations where required. There is a wheelchair accessible toilet on the ground floor. The toilet is fitted with grab rails. The minimum size of all wheelchair accessible doors is 86 cm. The lifts are 90 cm wide and 148 cm long.

If you can’t find the wheelchair ramps or elevators please feel free to ask our Knights to help you.

MFA ‘t Hart Ewijk is volledig rolstoeltoegankelijk. Hellingen en liften bevinden zich in alle kamers en locaties waar nodig. Op de begane grond bevindt zich een rolstoeltoegankelijk toilet. Het toilet is voorzien van beugels. De minimale grootte van alle deuren die toegankelijk zijn voor rolstoelen is 86 cm. De liften zijn 90 cm breed en 148 cm lang.

Als je de rolstoelhellingen of liften niet kunt vinden, aarzel dan niet om onze Ridders te vragen om je te helpen.

Public transport

First you need to go to Station NIJMEGEN.

From Station Nijmegen you take the BUS 85 richting Druten.
This bus only rides once every 30 min so be sure to check 9292.nl

You stop at busstop JULIANASTRAAT EWIJK.
From here it is 15 min walk to venue in a almost straight line.

RINCON BIG BUS — Station Nijmegen to RINCON

We are aware that due to public transport cutting in their rides(they went from 4 bus rides of line 85 to only 2 a hour) people who come by public transport have a longer journey ahead of them. To show you all we listen and we care about your travels we arranged something SUPER EPIC:

THE RINCON BIG BUS

Its a bus of 50 persons which drives at certain times from Station Nijmegen directly to the entrance of RINCON and back.
A ride on the bus is only 2€ and can be paid by QR code(which will definitly work this time 😉 ). Its a honor system but please be so kind to pay the ride <3

Parking – Groene Heuvel Ficarystraat Ewijk the RINCON Parkinglot

RINCON 2024 has been working better parking 🙂

Bigger parkinglot
We have listened and organized a larger parking lot!!

The official RINCON parking lot is located at Groene Heuvels (address: Ficarystraat, Ewijk).

After entering Groene Heuvels through the main entrance, turn left to reach the assigned parking area. There is plenty of parking space available at Groene Heuvels!

The parking fee is €3 per car per day.

A shuttle bus will be operating from here to the venue. This is just a 10-minute ride

Shuttlebus
First lets tell you there is a SHUTTLEBUS. But it will be BIGGER then last time, this time it will be a 30 person bus!
It will stop near the RINCON parking at Fiacrystraat and it will be visable by beach flag!
The bus will depart EACH whole hour and half hour from Groene Heuvels and will depart qwarter past and quarter for the hour from Ewijk.

Traffic Volunteers
Next edition we will have more traffic volunteers guiding you to the ride parking spots nearby.
First come, frist serve; So the cars that will come earlier will have parking spaces closer to rincon but the farthest we will park cars is about 10 min walk from venue.
We like to remind people if they park their cars near RINCON do NOT park your car in front of the entrances of residents in the area!

Carpool
We as RINCON would like to promote carpooling! Carpooling is better for the environment and a great opportunity to meet like-minded people.

If you carpool you could get a unique Sticker as a thank you; limited stock so once their gone their gone!

What do you have to do to obtain this cool sticker?(Limited stock only)
Make a selfie of the driver standing next to the car on a parking lot* and the person(s) carpooling with them. Them once one the con go to the information desk show the selfie and get the goodies!!

*Be careful! Your safety is more important then a sticker, so don’t take selfies while driving or parked on hazardous places.
