Thank you for buying a ticket for Roll Initiative Con.

The following terms are applicable for any tickets you buy via our website.

Your Order Cancellation Rights

Ticket sales related to leisure activities with a specific date do not fall under the 14-day withdrawal rights in the EU. This means there is no mandatory refund period for the tickets you may have bought for Roll Initiative Con.

However, since we are using crowdfunding to raise funds for the convention, we will be offering a system to get a partial refund for bought tickets in the following cases:

  • RINCON 2023 is not funded before December 1st 2022.
    You can check our homepage to see the regularly updated percentage of how funding has been going.
  • External factors, such as new corona regulations, mean the cancellation of the con.
    We will update if we’re under the effect of any such regulations on the website and our social media platforms.

How Refunds Will Work

Since we are a new company, and RINCON 2023 is our first con, we are bound by the systems we use. One of these is a payment system that takes a certain cut of each transaction for the ticket sales.

We are required to cover these costs in any circumstance, and as such we can only offer partial refunds. All ticket sales will be refunded at 90% of their original value. For an early bird visitor ticket, for example, this means you will receive 9€ back, instead of your paid 10€.

Furthermore, we will not be issuing refunds via our website, but on a case-by-case basis. This is done to avoid additional payment system costs, and an even further reduction of the paid back amount.
