“In a nondescript city circa 2007, in a typical family house, filled with ceramic nic-nacs, a pale matronly woman wearing a royal blue pantsuit quietly fumes. A large man in a gray blazer stands attentively at hand.

First her 19 year old daughter Joanna’s heart was quite literally stolen. By strange magics it was removed, ensconced in a porcelain jar, and absconded with. Now one week later Joanna herself is also missing.

Annette Decanter is having non of that. Somehow, she has both the contacts and funds to hire off-worlders. (The weight of a human heart in platinum btw) She needs the players and their weirdo ways to defeat whatever wizard has done this and rescue Joanna.

Annette has little other insight into her daughter’s life outside of their home. Joanna’s room itself is as sterile and bland as a 3-star hotel.”
